I bought this car in April of 2021 for $2500, with 87k miles and a dead hybrid battery. It was essentially a one owner grandpa car, in very nice shape with a full binder of reciepts from the honda dealership. In the last 5 years I have driven it 83,000 miles, and it has saved me over $6000 in fuel compared to the Impreza I had before. It has paid for itself more than twice. I love this car and I will continue driving it until one of us dies
This car and I have gone on many adventures, the roadtrip to Columbus, Ohio to purchase it, the Tail of the Dragon, and a 5000 mile roadtrip from Duluth MN to Yellowstone to Moab to Denver and back in a week. This page will eventually be filled with documentation of those trips, as well as the many many interesting engineering anecdotes related to this car and links to important or interesting information I have found over the years.
