Welcome to my Pile!
This has been a long time coming, I have been talking out my ass about making a good old fashioned Website for many years now, and this, perhaps, is it.
I am extremely susceptible to psychological addiction, and the number of hours of my life that I have "willingly" donated to Meta and Twitter and Google in the last 13 years can only be described as Unholy. No more. Just cigarettes for me, thanks.
I always enjoyed Posting online, creating a mosaic of the Things I Be Doing. I will attempt to use this html sheet as my mosaic.

Important Things
This website may render a little weird on a 16:9 display. I coded the entire thing on a twenty year old 4:3 monitor I had laying around, powered by a Mac Mini running Linux Mint under my nightstand. I wanted to get into the spirit of the Old Web, and for webdev to be a cozier experience, seperate from the ultrawide gamerstation.
Overview of my workflow: (warning: i have so, so little idea what i am doing, i am making this up as I go) I use VSCode with the Live Server plugin for live updates in my browser as I code. I have an exact mirror of my Neocities file tree on my hard drive. When I am happy with the condition of a page, I copy and paste the entire thing into Neocities. Perhaps not the most professional, but its been working so far. At some point I'll start giving them money so I can mount the site directly on my hard drive.
I use LocalSend for file/photo transfer between my phone and computer. Highly recommend, it is the most painless cross-platform file transfer system I have ever used. localsend.org
I use XnView MP for batch resizing of photos, it's a very powerful program that can do far more than that. XnView MP
I use Libreoffice (of course) for typing out articles before insertion into html
